Advanced Ozone Groundwater Remediation
Welcome to Westshore Consulting, the home of in-situ groundwater remediation through low-flow ozone injection. Using Westshore's state-of-the-art portable ozone generator, you can see you're gasoline contaminated site cleaned up quickly and affordably!
Westshore's portable ozone unit was designed to deliver a total of 52.4 grams of ozone per hour, nearly 3 pounds per day. That's enough ozone to chemically oxidize about 18 pounds of gasoline-related volatile organic compounds (VOCs) per month. All of this work with minimal energy consumption, a small onsite footprint, and low installation costs compared to traditional groundwater treatment methods.
Since this technology does not require high air flow volumes, air permitting and vapor recovery are not required and permitting through a state agency is minimal or not required.
In addition to in-situ chemical oxidation through ozonation, the system produces supplemental oxygen to encourage natural degradation of VOCs along the edges and downgradient of the injection locations. This method broadens the effective range of the treatment by encouraging natuarally-ocurring bacteria to consume the hydrocarbon compounds.
Westshore's ozone system is capable of delivering the ozone to 1 or up to 20 injection points and can be remotely controlled to maximize up-time and minimize onsite "operation & maintenance" costs.
